Display Colors
These fields allow you change the background colors of your screens and buttons. Use one of the following methods.
- Enter a hex value preceded by the #
- Enter a valid html color name
- Click on the colored square to open a color picker.
You can select either of the four palettes of colors from the drop down.
Once you select the palette (or decide to use the default palette), just click on the color you want and you will be taken back to the Options screen with that color selected.
- Color Coordinator: Press this button to go to ColorCoordinator.com where you can find coordinating colors to use for you selected and non selected colors.
The Monochromatic scheme works very well to find colors that blend nicely with each other.
- Either enter the hex value of the color you want to blend with or just drag the color bar on the bottom of either Picker.
- You can change the color bar to have either more yellow or more green tones by selecting the radio button at the top left.
- Move the little square in the box to the upper right to lighten the shade or to the lower left to darken the shade.
- Copy the hex values for Picker #1 and Picker #2 to the appropriate fields on the Options screen.
- Valid HTML Colors: Press this button to go to a screen where you can see all the valid color names along with their hex code and a color strip.
- Reset Default Colors: This will reset all the colors back to their original colors set by MindPal.
