Help Viewing Image Files

This screen allows you to view and import image files.

View My Image Files: Check to view all image files in your images directory on MindPal's server.

View Other Users' Image Files: Check to view all image files in every user's images directory on MindPal's server. You will also have the option of importing the image files into your image directory to be used with your flashcards.

View MindPal's Image Files: Check to view all of MindPal's image files. These files are automatically available to use with your image type flashcard sets. MindPal's image file will be used if your flashcard has the same text, word or answer as one of MindPal's image files or you have attached the image file name to the flashcard.

The name of MindPal's image files follow these file naming conventions:

• Spaces are replaced with "_". (Ex. one hundred is one_hundred)
• Colons (:) are replaced with "@". (Ex. 12:30 is 12@30)
• A period at the beginning is replaced with "0.". (Ex. .75 is 0.75)
• Single quotes are replaced with "qq". (Ex. don't is donqqt)

Continue: Press this button to search for and display image files.

Checkbox: If you want to import others' image files into your images directory, check all the boxes of the image files you want.

Import Selected Files: Press this button to import all the image files you have checked into your images directory.
